After years of looking for the right song to become a potential hit single, Johnny Rey has teamed up with hit maker / songwriter Ronnie Harwood. Eight songs penned by Ronnie, including Senorita, Still in My Heart, Marina Bay and a terrific version of You Drive Me Crazy, feature on Rey's new album, Talk To Me. A further five songs co-written with Ronnie's longtime songwriting partner Tony Hiller, including the title track, make this an album of rare quality.

Johnny Rey - best known until now for his Rock and Roll performances under the stage name of Johnny Red - shows his vocal skill and versatility on the new album, his first on Georgia Records. Produced and arranged by Ronnie Harwood, and engineered by Ed Adamberry at Edsongs in London, Talk To Me is a mix of touching ballads and rockin' tracks. Andy Hamilton's tenor sax is pure honey.

From the opening track, a musical Sangria called Senorita, there's a feelgood factor that is hard to resist. Every track in its own way seems to provide a fat slice of escapism, making this the ideal summer album but with more than enough wonderfully performed songs that you'll be playing it well into the new year and beyond. Johnny Rey like you've never heard him before.
